Explanation:
Non conosco la terminologia "snowboardesca", ma "to carve a turn" significa curvare di lamina/spigolando (da vocab.).
Forse, per estensione, potresti anche usare evoluzioni o trick(s) (gergale) sulle piste innevate, o qualcosa di simile.
Anche se il testo mi sembra più turistico che tecnico, eccoti la definizione di carving o hardboot: "surfare in pista con attrezzatura specifica da alte velocità con l’obbiettivo di esasperare la conduzione e la prestazione velocistica, cimentandosi talvolta tra i pali da slalom e slalom gigante"
