The XXXXX assembled network patch cable is a cable assembly that consists of UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable with an RJ45 male connector crimpled onto each end.
This patch cord is used to provide connectivity to computers and network components such as routers, switch boxes, network printers, and network attached storage devices.

Nella mia esperienza a bordo, spesso usiamo cavi "preassemblati" che vengono consegnati direttamente dal fornitore delle apparecchiature nella lunghezza corretta.
Per evitare lunghe, e spesso imperfette, operazioni di assemblaggio sul posto, anzichè costruirlo si ricorre all'"assieme precostruito" che in altri manuali si chiama anche "cablaggio preassemblato".

Asker: Grazie Magda, ma queste soluzioni si riferiscono ad 'assembled cable' o a 'cable assembly'? Come ho sottolineato nella domanda, i due termini sono vicini all'interno della stessa frase, quindi mi servirebbe un modo per distinguerli... Grazie mille per il tuo aiuto.
