| | Clarification request(s) and responseMaria Antonietta Ricagno: 2:30pm Jan 12, 2007: ho chiesto lumi, forse potrebbe avere ragione Giuseppina e trattarsi dell'occhiello la cui definizione tecnica è quella parte posta dopo il titolo dell'articolo e prima del corpo dello stesso, solitamente racchiusa graficamente in un box. Può essere?

Occhiello: Frase posta sopra il titolo che introduce l'articolo. Talvolta viene stampato in negativo, ossia in lettere bianche su fondo nero.

front matter = preliminares, prolegómeno
Def: En un libro, todas aquellas hojas con información que preceden al texto

Asker: Ciao cara, che piacere sentirti! Grazie per l'aiuto. Mi è venuto in mente che normalmente usano i termini foreword e preface per introduzione e prefazione. Secondo te front matter potrebbe tradursi con frontespizio?
Asker: Su Wikipedia ho trovato che il front matter sono tutte le pagine che precedono il testo vero e proprio di un libro, ovvero quelle che in italiano chiamiamo pagine romane (che includono sia l'introduzione sia la prefazione), ma come si può trasportare questo concetto da un libro a un articolo?

[...] un articolo è composto da un titolo, un occhiello, un testo introduttivo (in termini giornalistici, cappello), del corpo del testo [...] D'altra parte "front matter" mi fa pensare all'argomento di prima pagina (front page), perciò tutto dipende da a che cosa si riferisca il testo quando dice "see front matter": vedi l'occhiello dell'argomento di apertura? Vedi il cappello dello stesso? Vedi il catenaccio? Vedi l'argomento tout court? Difficile decidere...
