Mi scuso per la frase piena di parentesi, ma comunque il tuo dubbio mi sembra fosse limitato alla parte di frase legata a "excess".

chiedo scusa se ho scritto "del 'Stipulated etc.'". Non è un typo, l'ho fatto ipotizzando che seguisse "Valore etc.", ma effettivamente è proprio bruttino.
quindi correggo "dello 'Stipulated Loss Value'"

neutral  Francesca Pesce: come traduzione letterale di excess andrebbe anche bene, ma Chiara chiedeva spiegazione sulla frase e non si capisce dal contesto l'eccedenza rispetto a cosa venga calcolata; la frase dice "over such US$" cioè l'eccedenza rispetto a tale US$ (!!!)
