Notwithstanding aleo solar’s standard warranty obligations, the parties agree that in the case that the modules are under defect covered by the Warranty (Material and Workmanship or Power Output), aleo solar will provide a compatible technical solution with the existing PV installation in which the panels are installed.

Secondo voi "under defect" si riferisce a warranty o ai moduli fotovoltaici? non riesco a comprendere bene il senso della frase.
vi indico anche la mia bozza di traduzione anche se non sono sicura che sia corretta:
Nonostante gli obblighi di garanzia standard di aleo solar, le parti convengono che, nel caso in cui i moduli non siano coperti da garanzia riguardante Materiale e Manodopera o Rendimento , aleo solar provvederà a fornire una soluzione tecnica compatibile con l’impianto fotovoltaico esistente nel quale i pannelli vengono installati.

Explanation:
sembra che si riferisca ai moduli fotovoltaici. La traduzione letterale sarebbe: in caso i moduli presentino un difetto coperto dalla garanzia ecc.ecc.

Probabilmente questa clausola modifica in parte le condizioni previste dalla garanzia standard, da cui il "notwithstanding" iniziale
