English to Italian translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / Legal opinion
English term or phrase: taken to know
‘I reject the contention that it is open to a purchaser to assert both that he did not rely on a representation which was made to him and that he did rely upon that representation. *** He must be taken to know, ***at the time when he enters in to the agreement, what representations he is relying on’.

Sarà l'ora ma non so come renderlo.

Sarei grata di un aiuto

Asker: Grazie Maria dell'intervento. Solo non riesco a capire come si debba portarlo a conoscenza di qualcosa che dovrebbe sapere lui stesso su quale dichiarazione fare affidamento a meno che gli si debba dire proprio su quale fare affidamento ma in questo caso penso direbbe: "what representation he must relay on" ....

Asker: Grazie hai ragione.

Explanation:
Espressione trovata in contesti attinenti al diritto fondiario o contrattuale, come in

No doubt the owner ofproperty knows or must be taken to know what occurs openly and visibly on his estate or in its immediate neighborhood, but not that which takes place underground or in a secret manner.
