ce l'hanno solo le banche

sicuramente è una lettera di credito e non un pagamento C/D (cash against documents) perché infatti in questo caso si pagherebbe "nelle mani" del corriere.
Chiaramente se si fa il bonifico si porta come pezza giustificativa la ricevuta della banca, ma in questo caso direi che lo SWIFT è rivelatore.

Dovrebbe essere una lettera di credito ed in questo caso i documenti viaggiano SOLO da banca a banca.
