English term or phrase: chutes

the whole sentence is:

Grandin shares that this creative teacher used her interest in cattle chutes
to motivate her to study both psychology and science. Today, Grandin travels all over the
country and the world designing stockyards and chutes for major meat-packing firms.

I understood - by seeing pictures on google - what a "chute" is, but I miss the italian translation (if I well understand, It is kind of cage, for cows, allowing their head to lean out
Can someone help me?

Mi sembra che il tuo contesto sia di macelli/mattatoi (Grandin è nota per i suoi contributi all''"umanitarizzazione" dei luoghi). Qui si parla dei corridoi lungo i quali le bestie vengono avviati al 'capolinea'. Nell'articolo che cito, vengono chiamati 'percorsi obbligati' e portano nelle 'trappole di stordimento' ove ecc ecc.....

altre soluzioni:
-Mangiatoie e attrezzature (autocatturanti).

Cliccando "rastrelliere per bovini", google da molti risultati e opzioni, c'e' l'imbarazzo della scelta, io comunque mi atterrei alle prime che ti ho proposto (mi sembra suonino meglio).
