questa è la dicitura ufficiale, non so se si possa quindi 'alleggerire'. Significa che è stata depositata la domanda di brevetto ed è in attesa di essere esaminata. Già gode di una serie di diritti, ma il brevetto non è stato concesso a pieno titolo e la domanda può essere accettata, oppure respinta oppure possono essere richieste modifiche.
