English to Italian translations [PRO]
Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / pre-test questionnaire
English term or phrase: softquote
"if possible softquote 60:40 know XXX: don't know XXX"

"if possible "60:40 know XXX: don't know XXX"

Thanks, Mathias. I'll chase this up. The "sin" is that while you may be able to "choose" smart or typewriter quotes, once you have used that method Quark "sees" both open quote and close quotes (apostrophes) as the same. And this happens even if you do not use the smart quotes option, but the proper, separate keystrokes - Quark still sees them as the same thing! In short, they are "soft" quotes, not hard ones (eg in Find/Change). If the old Typesetting Marks Xtension could make them "hard" I can’t see why Quark can’t do the same.
