Premesso che il counter è il bancone di smercio degli articoli in vendita in qualunque POS (vedi ad ex. i farmaci da banco, o "over the counter"), "counter area" dovrebbe riferirsi a uno degli spazi operativi interni al centro commerciale.
Non so come siano organizzate le superfici interne del Sogo, ma le informazioni reperibili online rispetto a "counter" sembrano puntare in questa direzione:
“New Jiu Guang Counter”
an area of approximately 96 square meters on the Second Floor of Jiu Guang Store or such other location of the Jiu Guang Store as the Operating JV may prescribe."
