English term or phrase: (to) make up into (vedi frase)
Cari colleghi,

Qualcuno potrebbe gentilmente aiutarmi a decifrare??

Grazie mille!

1. Piping in a hydraulic system is more critical than in ordinary plumbing. All piping should be carefully cleaned prior to installation to make certain that no scale, dirt or cuttings can enter the System. The pipe or tubing should be deburred after cutting, and threads cut with sharp dies **SD they will make up easily into leak-proof joints**. Pipe Compound or teflon tape should be applied to male threads only; never to female threads. It should be used sparingly and applied at least two threads back from the end of the pipe so that it cannot enter the system.

Explanation:
nei giunti ermetici.

in caso di giunti filettati, "to make up" viene usato per "avvitare, serrare" (ad esempio per le aste filettate). E' l'azione contraria a "to break out" (svitare).
