visto che occorre spostare il punto zero dove iniziare la lavorazione, direi "materiale avanzato" (che può ancora essere lavorato, che presenta superficie sufficiente per essere lavorato ulteriormente.
Spostanto il punto iniziale, la macchina può proseguire la lavorazione senza l'intervento del personale nella zona di sicurezza.
