Scusami Lucia, credo che nel contesto in cui stai lavorando la migliore traduzione di "anti-ratcheting" possa essere "anti-ritorno".
Quindi la mia versione diventa "sistema frenante (o sistema di bloccaggio) anti-ritorno.
Scusami ma per un attimo ho creduto (forse leggendo un post in precedenza) che si trattasse di automotive.
