Il "ball float" è un galleggiante a sfera. Cosa vuol dire qui "cut ring"? Purtroppo non ho nessun altro riferimento, ricorre una sola volta nel testo e non mi aiuta nemmeno qualche figura/disegno tecnico.

"Cut ring" è un tipo di guarnizione. A quanto risulta dalle immagini di queste guarnizioni, non si tratta di un anello tagliato e il termine sembra invece sottintendere "Die-cut". Si vede bene nelle guarnizioni Viton, che sono proprio quelle da usare nella tua applicazione. Per questa ragione suggerisco un semplice "guarnizione ad anello". Non mi pare che "cut" si riferisca a una rottura della guarnizione, visto che non si tratta di sostituire la guarnizione ma il galleggiante.

Nei disegni che ho trovato io l'anello è sempre intero e non spaccato. Forse varrebbe la pena di verificare con il cliente o fare una nota |
