"Exterior mounted equipment shall be designed to take account of carriage washing machines and to resist cleaning fluids. It should initially be assumed that the following liquid chemicals will be used during external cleaning :-
- D.P. 10: A blend of neutral non-ionic detergents & wetting agents, solution strength 0.3 – 0.5%.
- D.P. 13: An acid cleaner comprising Aceto Diphosonic Acid & Phosphoric Acid, Sol 0.5 – 2.0%.
- D.P. 17: A mildly alkaline detergent, solution 2 – 20%.
- D.P. 18: A concentrate of Oxalic Acid, solution 10%.
- Exmover: A blend of Oxalic Acid and anionic detergents, solution 2.5%."
