A questo punto, non trovando soluzioni verificate in doc paralleli, opterei per una perifrasi un po' lunghetta, ma precisa: formazione del collo della lattina su piattaforma rotante, o qualcosa del genere (mettendo fra parentesi anche la dicitura in inglese).
Comunque credo che la direzione da prendere sia questa...
