Asker: Sì ha senso. Infatti ho pensato anche io a un errore di questo tipo e ho interpretato il verbo come "to validate". Ma si ripete numerose volte nel testo, quindi attendiamo riscontri. Grazie.

Asker: Sì, forse è una derivazione dal latino. Nello stesso testo ho trovato "No fecit" per "Non eseguito". Comunque dal contesto (una sola stringa di testo) non si capisce se il report deve essere convalidato o visualizzato. Grazie.

Asker: Grazie a entrambi, il cliente ha confermato che "vidate" era un errore per "validate" e ha provveduto a correggere il sorgente. Quindi la traduzione corretta era "convalidare". Ho scelto l'altra risposta perché è stata la prima ricevuta in ordine di tempo.
