Obviously caution is required in the administration of oral drugs to patients with GI problems. GI problems can also constitute a side effect of certain drugs.

Ho trovato anche un sito dove viene usato \"problemi GI\" in italiano, ma secondo me è meglio \"problemi gastrointestinali\", o se devi proprio usare \"problemi GI\", almeno aggiungere \"gastrointenstinali\" tra parentesi.

\"Poiché nell’apparato gastrointestinale (GI) si trovano degli spazi pieni d’aria, è necessario prenderli in considerazione, relativamente alla subacquea, insieme ai disturbi dell’esofago, dello stomaco, dell’intestino tenue e crasso. Come le malattie di altri apparati, i problemi GI possono indebolire l’organismo ed impedire alcuni tipi di attività fisiche.\"
