Con il termine tecnico di teleangectasie, si suole identificare quelle formazioni di capillari dilatati che si possono osservare principalmente sugli arti inferiori, e in minor frequenza anche su altre superfici corporee. Il loro aspetto più frequente è a chiazza rosso-bluastra, costituita da un reticolo di fini venule dilatate; i capillari si possono tuttavia presentare anche in maniera isolata, o con aspetto \"arborescente\".
