non credo che si tratti di un particolare strumento "tecnico", ma semplicemente di un manicotto adattatore usato per ridurre il calibro di un pezzo perché si adatti ad un altro. Mi immagino due pezzi, uno maschio, l'altro femmina, che non combaciano perfettamente perché il diam. interno del pezzo femmina è troppo grande. Inserisci questo manicotto et voilà.
