Explanation:
Si usa nel cucito ma credo che il senso é uguale

siste un ago, detto ago passante o ago passanastro, oggi poco utilizzato, che veniva usato per far passare i nastri o gli elastici all'interno degli orli o tra le barrette (in questo caso il lavoro veniva chiamato "a passanastro").
Si presenta come una sottile lamina flessibile di 3-4 mm la cui cruna e' a forma di triangolo acuto, con l'angolo stretto rivolto verso la punta per meglio trattenere il nastro o l'elastico.
Gli aghi passanastro moderni, piu' diffusi nel mondo anglosassone e conosciuti come "bodkin", a volte presentano una pallina sulla punta: in questo modo il passaggio attraverso il tessuto e' facilitato e si evita che l'ago passi attraverso o laceri il tessuto stesso.
