Explanation:

"The frequency of scoring should be driven by the dosing interval, but should be at least twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, with one or more scorings timed to precede dosing. The symptoms should be scored both as reflective score (evaluation of symptom severity over a predefined period, such as 12 hours) and as instantaneous score (evaluation of symptom severity immediately preceding the time of scoring). Reflective score gives an assessment of consistency of efficacy throughout the dosing interval, and instantaneous score gives an assessment of end of dosing interval efficacy. Either reflective or instantaneous symptom score can be declared as a primary efficacy endpoint."
