Non trovo il termine corrispondente in nessuna risorsa online o cartacea.

Sto traducendo un testo sulle complicanze della chirurgia del seno mascellare, in particolare la lacerazione della membrana sinusale

Finora ho trovato quanto segue:
Infracturing is a type of surgery that involves breaking and repositioning one of the bones within the nose (inferior turbinate) to help resolve a blocked tear duct. This procedure may be done if the nose structure is pressing against and blocking the lower end of the tear duct.
Quanto sopra si riferisce a "Blocked Tear Ducts: Infracturing" ma non mi sembra che ci siamo...

e poi in questo testo italiano http://tinyurl.com/7b2b7th a pagina 235, dove viene lasciato come tale tra virgolette e la cui spiegazione non mi convince

Explanation:
Ho trovato questo, parlando di ostetomia: L’intervento chirurgico viene eseguito in anestesia generale, praticando piccole incisioni
(che non lasciano cicatrici visibili) a livello della mucosa nasale. Attraverso queste incisioni vengono effettuate tutte le manovre chirurgiche (frattura e riposizionamento delle ossa nasali, e mascellari, rimodellamento delle strutture cartilaginee, ecc.). Spero di possa essere utile.

Explanation:
La tecnica si chiama cosi' anche in italano e consiste nel riposizionamento dei montanti ossei tramite pressione manuale, dopo aver praticato l'osteotomia (infracturing e osteotomia sono due procedure diverse: l'osteotomia e' la rottura dell'osso, l'infracturing una tecnica di riposizionamento dell'osso stesso).
Credo sia piu' corretto non tradurre il termine.

Asker: Molte grazie ma quell'unico riferimento in "italiano", come già detto, non mi convince. Tra l'altro nel caso del seno mascellare non è coinvolta alcuna pressione manuale.
