effettuare un controllo radio Explanation: Vado un po' a tentoni, ma secondo me questo e' andato nel carro armato per controllare se doveva effettuare un controllo radio (questo intendo per "radio watch"). Ho letto che nella guerra del Vietnam c'erano dei militari addetti al controllo radio per monitorare il traffico radio nemico, per ascoltare i piani di attacco dei nemici o se questi avevano fatto prigionieri. Ma secondo me potrebbe essere pure che con il controllo radio le varie squadre di militari si tenessero a contatto tra loro (per seguire gli spostamenti del nemico o per darsi direttive di attacco o difesa tra di loro). Ho trovato sul web la frase "to pull radio watch from X to X hours": http://www.uwgb.edu/dutchs/bosnia/may23-30.htm We get in at 2100, just in time to pull radio watch until 2400. |
