Explanation:
Il dizionario giuridico De Franchis definisce la "Summary procedure" in ambito penale come 'procedimento sommario' in generale, ponendo tuttavia bene in evidenza che tale definizione nulla ha a che vedere con il "procedimento sommario" così come lo si potrebbe intendere nell'ordinamento italiano.
In particolare il De Franchis chiarisce che si tratterebbe di un procedimento che ha luogo senza la partecipazione della giuria (gestito dunque da semplici operatori, funzionari od organi monocratici),
