Sempre in riferimento al brano di cui ho già scritto un post poco fa, ecco un'altra frase (l'ultima) della cui traduzione volevo chiedere un parere.
Si tratta sempre di perle di alta qualità e ad un certo punto si dice che

They have the best mark possible

Io l'ho inteso come riferimento al loro standard qualitativo, come a dire che la loro origine è la migliore in assoluto, ma anche qui ho dei dubbi.
La frase è molto corta, ma l'ho riportata pari pari dal target text.

is expressed in grades and not marks, these could be found on the surface of the pearl and from grades AAA to A+ this usualy results as "clean".

So I think "mark" in your case, could have to do with the pearl farm which produces them.
