Ciao a tutti, ho due frasi che sembrano contraddirsi l'un l'altra e mi occorre un parere..si tratta di una tastiera musicale, dove sono presenti dei check box sul display LCD che abilitano o meno una determinata funzione.

1) A check box is considered to be "on" when is displayed as an outlined box; a check box that is filled in is considered to be "off".
2) When "on", the check box will be displayed as solid.

Mi pare che la frase 2 dica esattamente il contrario della frase 1, che ne pensate?
O sono io che sono rincitrullito?

Credo comunque che l'errore sia nella frase n. 1, in quanto, a logica, mi sembra più probabile che un'opzione in funzione sia segnalata con il box pieno, e una spenta dal box vuoto.

2) When "OFF", the check box will be displayed as solid.

Ma questi testi tecnici non li rilegge mai nessuno prima che arrivino al povero traduttore che sembra essere anche il primo lettore?
