Explanation:
lo so che la domanda e' chiusa, ma delle volte per via del fuso orario ed altre ragioni arrivo tardi a dare una mano.
Di questo famigerato termine (boutique hotel) si era discusso in un'altra lista (Biblit--traduttori letterari), e mi sembra di ricordare (potete andare a controllare nell'archivio a www.biblit.it) che si trattasse di alberghi dove tutte le cose sono in vendita (cioe' i letti, i divani; se ti piace, te lo compri e te lo porti a casa!).
L'altro significato era "hotel" non in serie, piccolo hotel ricercato per clienti ricercati, e qui puoi vedere
