Explanation:
L'espressione tedesca "avere una scimmia sulle spalle"significa essere ubriachi o peggio essere alcolizzati,come ricordo di aver sentito in Germania. Scimmia significava anche zaino ( Tornister dal cecoslovacco, lat.canister) ed i soldati (che portavano lo zaino) evidentemente erano portati al bere.Potrebbe quindi significate quanto ho azzardato cioè la tendenza al bere ma non è ben chiaro l'uso di "approve of" che non esiste come sostantivo in nessun dizionario. Spero di esser stato un pò utile.
