La scena si apre con il principe e il suo servitore (Frazer) su un'isola. Si accorgono della presenza di un coccodrillo e si scambiano poche battute che trovate di seguto. La frase in questione - che chiude la brevissima scena - viene rivolta con fare soddisfatto dal principe al un coccodrillo che tenta di scacciarlo lanciandogli un ramo che va a conficcarsi proprio nella bocca del coccodrillo che ovviamente rimane immobile e mesto se ne va.
