workbench Explanation: E' un po' difficile dire senza contesto come sarebbe meglio tradurlo; letteralmente e' il bancone di lavoro, ma oramai il termine e' utilizzato in inglese in molti contesti informatici (ho fatto una ricerca con Altavista, digitando workbench e scegliendo come lingua l'italiano e non ti dico il numero di pagine che sono venute fuori!) Credo che, se di contesto informatico si tratta, non sbaglieresti a lasciarlo in inglese. Aspettiamo adesso altri consigli dei colleghi Saluti Paola L M |

workbench Explanation: Sì, confermo la risposta di Paola. Aggiungo solo questa definizione che ho trovato nel glossario informatico che ti indico sotto. Buon lavoro! WorkBench WORKBENCH (dall' inglese "banco di lavoro") e' il nome con cui si definisce l' Interfaccia Grafica del Sistema Operativo.A seconda della piattaforma hardware e dell' ambiente di lavoro, la stessa interfaccia grafica si definisce DESKTOP o SCRIVANIA. E' composta da quell' insieme di oggetti gafici (quali Icone, Finestre, Barre di Menu) che consentono all' Utente di dare delle direttive al Sistema Operativo in modo intuitivo, toccando e trascinando le varie immagini simboliche disegnate sul WORKBENCH appunto.
