I would need the help of someone who has facebook mobile on their cellphone to check the Italian equivalent of this option. "Check in" allows users to determine their position through their phone's gps. Users can "check in" to where they are and their friends can view that.
Also in the facebook news they might publish "User XXX just checked in to ..... 1 hour ago" "User XXX was at.... 3 hours ago"
