English term or phrase: grazed - to graze
The Christ Church Anglican Cathedral is a discrete building with space on the very busy Sainte-Catherine street in Montreal. The light tends to define the space by keeping some darkness between GRAZED vertical plans. It reveals the texture and ornaments in a way that is not perceptible at daytime.

The light under the bridge GRAZES the surface of the water in blue colour at 5,200°K and projects subtle ripples on the surface under the bridge. The vertical surface on the left is lit to secure the pedestrian path under the bridge.
