Tech/Engineering - Other / bicycles - bottom bracket instructions | | English term or phrase: crank bolt | The spindles are available in lenghts of 113, 117, 119, 121, 125 and 130. All have the standard 2 degree taper found on all better quality (forced) cranksets. They take a standard 8 x 1 mm ****crank bolt*** (not supplied with a frameset). Bearings and spindle are retained with bearing retaining loctite.
To remove the old bottom bracket assembly, place Susan on the left side of the BB spindle, pu the stepped washer in the end of Susan and screw in the ***crank bolt*** until snug. |
