English to Italian translations [PRO]
Science - Petroleum Eng/Sci / Misurazione dell'ATP nei combustibili | | English term or phrase: bioburden | Ciao a tutte/i,
in una norma sulla misurazione dell'ATP cellulare in vari combustibili trovo una mezza dozzina di termini che mi lasciano dubbiosa (quindi seguiranno altre domande).
Il secondo è "bioburden" nel seguente contesto:
ATP concentration is affected by: the microbial species present, the physiological states of those species, and the total bioburden.
Io avrei optato per renderlo come "biocontaminazione", ma tra le parole chiave della norma compare anche "biocontamination" (oltre a "bioburden", biodeterioramento, biomassa, contaminazione microbica, microbiologia, microorganismi...).
Se "bioburden" e "biocontamination" sono sinonimi perfettamente sovrapponibili e se in italiano non abbiamo _due_ termini, pensate che possa tralasciare "bioburden" tra le parole chiave perché è comunque ricompreso nella biocontaminazione?
