English to Italian translations [PRO] Philosophy | | English term or phrase: peer pressure | He sees how shrill she becomes around her friends; she sees how susceptible he is to peer pressure.
Hi, pretty generic really, I just can't bring to mind the Italian equivalent for "peer pressure" other than something like "conformità al gruppo", which seems unecessarily wordy and not quite on target, or perhaps "pressione di gruppo", but is this equivalent?.
Thanks
PS This is from a philosophy text that I am, in a labour of love, attempting to translate into Italian (!). I have written a post about it on the Italian Proz boards. |
