Shooting at night the way we are doing does require a very fast film, it’s about 500 ASA which is very fast. I could actually shoot probably at a 1000 ASA and still it would look good without pushing it. It’s an excellent film, they’ve made wonderful progress in adding latitude both to the top and bottom of the film, which means that you see into the blacks better and you see whites better.

Come tradurreste l'unità ASA? E' da lasciare cosi o è meglio renderla in quantità ISO? Inoltre, come tradurreste l'ultima frase?

ASA rimane invariato...

e secondo me l'ultima frase significa che vengono annullati in parte i toni di grigio e accentuati i "bianchi" e i "neri"

In fotografia, più la pellicola è sensibile (valore alto di ASA) più si accentuano i contrasti, la fotografia ha contrasti meno morbidi e la morbidezza è dovuta dalle numerose sfumature o gradazioni di grigio.

Da quello che ho trovato direi che dovresti usare gli ISO. Ecco i riferimenti:

Per quanto riguarda l'ultima frase, io direi: "È una pelliccola eccellente, a cui è stata aggiunta latitudine sia nella parte superiore che inferiore, permettendo così di vedere meglio i bianchi e i neri".
