Come si potrebbero tradurre "near edge" e "far edge" in questo contesto?

Explanation:
Così almeno lo chiamano per le fotocopiatrici Sharp, vedi link qui sotto di documenti analoghi in inglese e italiano (nel file PDF, cerca "print margins" e "marigni di stampa")

Credo si tratti del bordo sinistro e destro di un foglio, che però mentre avanza nella fotocopiatrice ha un orientamento diverso e quindi sinistra e destra possono essere fuorvianti, quindi usano i termini near e far relativi all'operatore della fotocopiatrice.
