English to Italian translations [Non-PRO]

Si tratta della presentazione di un concorso di opere grafiche.
Viene specificato che le opere da inviare via posta non dovranno essere incorniciate né "matted".
Ora a quanto ne so io il termine si riferisce alla carta opaca (es. fotografia), ma in questo caso non so come renderlo. Si tratta forse di un tipo di rivestimento oppure è proprio il tipo di carta da utilizzare? Potrebbe riferirsi al fatto che le opere devono pervenire integre, "non accartocciate"?
Prima viene specificato che le opere non dovranno provenire da stampa monotipo o digitale.
