short story americana di fine '800, questa espressione ricorre spesso nei lavori dell'autrice
in questo caso
frase:
"and away she went like a thistle-down"
contesto: la bambina vola via grazie al vento che spinge l'ombrello che ha in mano
letteralmente è la lanugine del cardo...come rendere l'espressione in italiano?

Secondo me è importante tenere l'immagine del fiore, e il soffione è quello che si avvicina di più!

ah, non era stato specificato che si trattasse di una favola PER bambini ;-) Allora perché non usare un'immagine a loro famigliare, come "UN AQUILONE NEL VENTO"??
