La frase è rivolta ai gestori dei punti vendita di un grande marchio e descrive un "mezzo visivo" da mettere nel negozio come merchandising:

"Your images are supplied mounted with a 2cm matt black plywood surround 7cm deep"

non capisco se sono semplici cartelloni (in compensato, plywood) oppure se questo surround intende che c'è anche un audio
e poi quelle due misure - 2cm e poi 7cm deep - a cosa si riferiscono? allo spessore del compensato? 2cm, e 7 cm deep allora cosa è?

Explanation:
sono cartelloni con un bordo di compensato...non una vera e propria cornice, ma un bordino che, probabilmente coprono lo spessore del perimetro. Hai verificato se le dimensioni, specialmente lo spessore, corrispondono a quelle dei cartelloni?
