English term or phrase: "ichthoid curve"
si tratta di un tipo di design per lo scafo delle navi, brevettato apparentemente da Percy Fawcett all'inizio del XX sec. servirebbe per fare andare più veloci le navi. ho pensato a 'curva ittioide, o a pesce', ma non ho trovato riscontri in internet, né altrove.

I am wondering though whether you would find the equivalent translation on the Net, because this phrase is specific to Percy Fawcett, a Victorian, so perhaps nobody has translated this before, on the Net anyway!!
