purtroppo non ho contesto. si tratta di sottotitoli. ci sono dei cow-boy, a un certo punto uno vede un'impronta per terra, si guarda intorno e urla "keep it six, keep it six" e tutti corrono. poi si fermano e dicono
-Pretty good?
-Looks pretty clear.
-That's our prey.

da una ricerca in rete mi pare di capire che sia una frase che ha a che fare con l'hockey, ma non riesco a capire il senso. Mi aiutate?

Explanation:
Come dicevo nella reference, si tratta di un'azione di copertura e protezione da parte dei compagni in situazioni di pericolo. 'Keep six' o 'watch my six' sono sinonimi di 'watch my back'.

Deriva dal fatto che la parte del corpo che si deve proteggere sta 'a ore 6', cioè dietro la schiena.

Explanation:
L'espressione si riferisce alle sei squadre canadesi militanti nell'NHL: IL Vancouver, l'Edmonton, il Calgary, il Toronto, l'Ottava e il Montreal. L'espressione "Keep it six" viene usata dai tifosi della squadra di hockey americana dei Phoenix Coyotes la quale probabilmente verrà trasferita a Winnipeg, creando così una settima squadra canadese.

Scusami Valeria ma non avevo letto la tua spiegazione. Non capisco cosa c'entri l'espressione nel tuo testo. Comunque io la tradurrei ugualmente "rimanete in sei".

In questo contesto potrebbe dire 'mettetevi al riparo' (se la scena del film mostra persone che corrono a nascondersi). Capire un po' di più i movimenti della scena potrebbe essere di aiuto per trovare una soluzione migliore.

capisco che questo è il motto contro il trasferimento di una squadra di hockey su ghiaccio dal mezzo del deserto (negli Stati Uniti) in una zona del Canada aumentando il numero di squadre da sei a sette.

Non capisco cosa possa avere da fare con il tuo testo, ma forse leggendo il testo si capisce meglio....
