Si tratta di un'applicazione che, plausibilmente, presenta diverse finestre che concorrono a formare un quadro sinottico dei dati relativi al sito.

L'executive overview, inteso come sostantivo, è con molta probabilità una "schermata sinottica" (cioè consente di "avere una visione simultanea delle varie parti di un complesso" [Garzanti]).

The executives do not have much time to spend in details. Therefore, they want to be informed in the fastest possible way.

Un compendio (riassunto, epilogo) molto spesso all'inizio di un documento deve far si' che l'esecutivo (the decision maker, after all) possa interessarsi al soggetto senza perdere molto tempo. Tipico qui negli USA. Se il "boss" non si interessa subito si rischia di perdere il progetto.
