Riferito al sistema elettrico di un'automobile.
"The Current Clamp Diagnostic function assists the Technician with system diagnostics.
The operator positions the current clamp onto the battery positive terminal and the WDS will measure the quiescent current with the component under test driven to the off state. The WDS will then drive the component under test to the on state (or instruct the operator to activate the switch) and measure the resulting current flow. The quiescent current is subtracted from this value and the resulting figure is compared to the acceptable limits stored by WDS. If the measured value is outside the acceptable limits, a fault report will be generated".
