suggerimento Explanation: Secondo me, pur essendo ignorante di tale lingua, si tratta di un riferimento ad un nome proprio (es. un marchio) o ad una descrizione in olandese, ma certamente non in inglese, se è giusto lo spelling. stramazzo, diga, chiusa - see text Explanation: weir significa - diga; stramazzo; chiusa "A dam in a waterway over which water flows, serving to regulate water level or measure flow." The "entree" is some device on it that I can't figure out. Perhaps "stramazzo in ingresso" or some such. I found a reference to it in this website for engineers http://www.ulst.ac.uk/uunews/uunews9900/ saying that thanks to the application of the entree weir the waters of the river in Belfast are now much improved. Does this fit in at all with your context? Angela |
