English term or phrase: fade to full/from full
illuminotecnica - sistema di controllo dell'illuminazione

il significato è chiaro, mi serve un modo semplice per esprimerlo.

"Load turns ON at the end of a fade to full and OFF at the beginning of a fade from full."

(fade è il tempo di passaggio da una scena d'illuminazione all'altra)

per adesso la frase che ho tradotto è un po' bruttina e contorta e non molto "italiana":

"la lampada si accenderà al termine del tempo stabilito per l'accensione alla massima intensità e si spegnerà all'inizio del tempo stabilito per lo spegnimento a partire dalla massima intensità."

qualche idea?

Explanation:
Your sentence looks OK to me, although you can refine the Italian a little. What I find puzzling, however, is the meaning of the original sentence: "Load turns ON at the end of a fade to full and OFF at the beginning of a fade from full."

To me, the logical sentence would be: "Load turns ON at the BEGINNING of a fade to full and OFF at the END of a fade from full." The meaning of "load" being "la carica elettrica". That is to say, the electrical load BEGINS when the fade-in begins, and it is switched off completely when the fade-off ends. This is how all attenuators/faders work.

Explanation:
"La lampada si accenderá al termine del tempo stabilito per sfumare alla massima intensitá, e si spegnerá all'inizio del tempo stabilito per sfumare a partire dalla massima intensitá".
Non é il massimo, ma è il meglio che mi viene in mente. Mi pare che i tecnici teatrali parlino di "sfumare le luci", e credo sia usato anche in domotica, quindi dovrebbe andar bene per l'illuminotecnica.

... all'inizio di una dissolvenza che parte dal punto di massima luminosità...

Secondo me questo "to fUll", "From Full" fa riferimento ad un comando "slittante, dove la posizione a sinistra è il punto zero di luminosità e
la posizione a destra il punto massimo... ocme in certe piantane che si usano in tutti gli appartamenti...
