English to Italian translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering | | English term or phrase: fade to full/from full | illuminotecnica - sistema di controllo dell'illuminazione
il significato è chiaro, mi serve un modo semplice per esprimerlo.
"Load turns ON at the end of a fade to full and OFF at the beginning of a fade from full."
(fade è il tempo di passaggio da una scena d'illuminazione all'altra)
per adesso la frase che ho tradotto è un po' bruttina e contorta e non molto "italiana":
"la lampada si accenderà al termine del tempo stabilito per l'accensione alla massima intensità e si spegnerà all'inizio del tempo stabilito per lo spegnimento a partire dalla massima intensità."
qualche idea? |

| | Italian translation:See commentary | Explanation: Your sentence looks OK to me, although you can refine the Italian a little. What I find puzzling, however, is the meaning of the original sentence: "Load turns ON at the end of a fade to full and OFF at the beginning of a fade from full."
To me, the logical sentence would be: "Load turns ON at the BEGINNING of a fade to full and OFF at the END of a fade from full." The meaning of "load" being "la carica elettrica". That is to say, the electrical load BEGINS when the fade-in begins, and it is switched off completely when the fade-off ends. This is how all attenuators/faders work. |

13 hrs confidence: La lampada si accende al termine di una dissolvenza fino al punto di massima luminosità e si spegne
Explanation: ... all'inizio di una dissolvenza che parte dal punto di massima luminosità...
Secondo me questo "to fUll", "From Full" fa riferimento ad un comando "slittante, dove la posizione a sinistra è il punto zero di luminosità e
la posizione a destra il punto massimo... ocme in certe piantane che si usano in tutti gli appartamenti...
