Parliamo sempre del Millennium Dome:
A mix of blue and white light illuminates the ticket booths and changes in intensity to signal the open and close of operation, while a similar combination of colors also lights the perimeter of the FABRIC dome. The FABRIC serves as a background to the exhibits and is illuminated by 1kW metal halide projectors concealed on the roofs of the hospitality suites and 400W metal halide uplights bracketed off the perimeter structure.
Non credo che qui c'entri la stoffa; inoltre mi confonde "fabric" in funzione aggettivale. Qualche idea? Grazie.

fabric è anche "struttura". a quanto ricordo il millenium dome era una specie di mega tendone (ma posso sbagliarmi)e se fosse così mi verrebbe da pensare che sia lo stessa tendone a fare da sfondo agli spettacoli, ravvivato da incredibili giochi di luci.

Ho cercato su internet delle foto del Dome. Mi sembrava impossibile, ma pare proprio che la copertura sia un tendone, per cui fabric si potrebbe tradurre con "tessuto".

fabric è anche "struttura". a quanto ricordo il millenium dome era una specie di mega tendone (ma posso sbagliarmi)e se fosse così mi verrebbe da pensare che sia lo stessa tendone a fare da sfondo agli spettacoli, ravvivato da incredibili giochi di luci.
