penso che lo specifichino perché di solito con i telefoni cordess occorre premere un pulsantino per rispondere alle chiamate, come per i cellulari.
Quindi: se il telefono è inserito nella sua base, non occorre premere alcun pulsante di risposta ma solo sollevare il cordless.

forse perchè questa è la funzione tipica che permette di ricevere telefonate quando il microtelefono è sollevato dall'unità base.
E' possibile?
Se non attivi questa funzione può essere che il telefono suoni soltanto se poggiato sull'unità base.
Non so nulla di cordless, ma così pare dal tuo teso
